Materials and tools:
– yarn of 3 different colors (Himalaya 100% Acrylic 250m 100g)
– hook number 5mm
– scissors
– needle
Abbreviations used in the text:
dc – double crochet
ch – chain
sl st – stitch
Square
First yellow color:
Round 1: make a slip knot. Ch 4. Join to the first ch with a sl st to make a circle/loop (or alternately make a magic loop).
8 dc into the loop. Join with a slip stitch to the first dc.
Change to the second color (white) and cut off yellow leaving a one-inch tail.
Round 2: 3dc into the dc space below from round 1, 3dc into the next dc space. 3dc in every space all along the circle that you made. You’ve already made eight of the sets of 3dc, join with a slip stitch to the starting dc.
Change to the third (blue) color and cut off white leaving a one-inch tail.
Round 3: 3 dc into space between sets of dc below, 3dc in next opening space, 3dc, 1ch, 3dc in next space; 3 dc; 3dc, 1ch,3dc; , 3dc; 3dc, 1ch, 3dc; 3dc; 3dc and 1ch in the last engle and slst in first dc of the round.
Cut off the yarn.
Top
For size S-M you need 20 squares if you want 2 rows top, or 30 squares, if 3 rows top. The squares are sewn together with a needle and third (blue) yarn.
Straps
Blue yarn: figure out where you want to make a strap, insert the yarn, and chain a chain that is long enough for you, nearly 50ch, attach it just using a slst. Make the second strap the same.
